Collection: Arcane Thesis
I work as a magicite research technician here out in the mountains. My field of study is the jagd; How does it react with magicite that makes magicite internally fail the way it does? These questions and more can be answered by you! I require any and all Arcane Thesis you find. For each Arcane Thesis you find, I will reward you. Please visit my laboratory in Ley Petie for further job opportunities.

Collection: Bolts and Screws
My name is Parkus, and I work for the municipal repairs committee. During the riots just after the accident at Banghor, a group of hoodlums came into our construction yard, and, well… they stole all of our nuts, bolts and screws. Now that we have to make repairs after the riots, we’ve got nothing to make things stick together with. If anyone can bring us 10 nuts, 10 bolts and 10 screws, not only will you get the warm fuzzy feeling that you’ve helped someone out, but we’ll even send you a care package in the mail!

Mark hunt: Ghost on the Railway
The railway drivers have been complaining about some sort of strange creature that seems to be haunting the V-17 tunnel from District 12 to District 8. Several of my men have complained that they hear strange voices and feel a deathly cold in the tunnels— and it isn’t the chill from the snow, either! Parkinson, one of the late night drivers, swears that he saw some kind of shambling humanoid walking down the tracks in the tunnel— just for a second, though, before it disappeared, of course. The men are refusing to run the trains down the tunnel, now, and it’s distracting the men during daily operations as well— telling ghost stories! If anyone could investigate and bring me proof that the creature or whatever has faced its demise, the men would reward you with a little bit of their savings they have been collecting, and I would give you something for your time as well.
— Richard Price, railway operations sub-manager
Mark hunt: Strange Noises in the Factory
District 4 is built around it’s factories and warehouses— almost everyone who lives in this part of the city works at the factories and warehouses, or lives in an abandoned storage facility. Our commune in the Shaky Salt warehouse 12 is beginning to feel growing pains from our expanding population, and we’re looking into expanding into warehouse 13. However, many of the people we’ve sent to prepare or scout out the location have returned saying that the location is full of strange creatures living in the decay. We are paying in several collections of rare herbs for any available help to clear out the warehouse so that we may begin to colonize it.

Request: Return my Brother’s Rifle
My brother was conscripted by the Republic and served six long years in its military. Two tours in the Kalache Land Bridge skirmishes left him wounded and shaken, but he persisted on. His tank was shocked by return fire from a Lyonesse mortar unit, and after a long stay in the hospital, he returned. He always stood back up and kept going— a trait I admired in my older brother. With the destruction of Banghor, almost all who were there died instantly in the magical superweapon’s holocaust. My brother was one of them. Now that they’ve begun returning bodies to the city, I learned that he had come in on a train and went to collect his body for burial— to find that the only piece of my brother left is his old, battered rifle. I was unable to take it from the viewing— the ownership of firearms is prohibited within Vector— but I want the last thing left of my brother, so I can bury it with his spirit. I’m willing to give a sizeable reward to anyone willing to infiltrate the cremation compound and save my brother’s rifle before it’s burnt to ash and entombed in the cement of some patronizing memorial.
